A CFR friar once told me that the "greatest affirmation of man is Christ choosing to be present to us always in the Eucharist."  I personally have received great healing, security, and peace in God revealing His heart to us as a heart that is always present to us. Always.  When I first visited Gift of Mary I was immediately drawn to the ministry in that the best way the women were loved on at Gift of Mary was through the missionaries just "being" here for them -  receiving them, loving them, laughing, crying and dancing with them, and forming authentic relationships with them.  It may seem so small, but so fundamental and foundational for any soul to heal and thrive.  I chose to be a Gift of Mary missionary because I want to be a part of a mission that strives to make the loving presence of Christ known to His beloved poor.
